Terms of service
These are the terms between you and Amplifye, which operates Days IRL. They cover what the app does, what it costs, what happens to your money, and what we do and do not promise. Using the app means you accept them.
Using Days IRL
You need to be 18 or older and able to enter a contract. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not use the app to break the law, to move money that is not yours, or to get at anybody else’s account or data.
Trips, invitations, and groups
You can invite people to a trip, and they can answer without installing anything. Private answers — budgets, hard limits, availability — stay private; the group sees conclusions, not individuals. If you organize a trip you can invite and remove people, but you cannot see another traveller’s private numbers, and neither can we show them to you.
Your money
Days IRL never holds, pools, or controls your money. Bank connections are read-only, through Plaid. Transfers are run by Astra, a licensed payments partner, on an authorization you give Astra directly, and they take two forms:
Saving for a trip moves money between two accounts that both belong to you. Paying somebody back moves money from your account to the account of a person you have recorded a debt to, and only when you start it.
You can stop either at any time. Nothing about your subscription status restricts access to your own funds, and cancelling Pro never locks you out of your savings or your record of them.
What automating a trip costs
Setting up automatic saving for a trip costs a one-time fee between $12 and $36, depending on how long the schedule runs. It is charged once, as part of your first deposit, and it is shown to you before you agree to the schedule. Days/IRL Pro includes it on every trip, so subscribers pay no set-up fee at all. Nothing else about saving costs money: we take no percentage of what you save and no fee on the deposits themselves.
Confirming it is you
Before you connect a bank, start transfers, move money back out, or pay somebody back, we email you a six-digit code and ask you to enter it. Do not share it. If a code arrives that you did not ask for, somebody may have your password — change it, and tell us at security@daysirl.com.
Booking flights, stays, and activities
When you book through the app, your contract for the travel itself is with the airline, hotel, or operator — not with us. Their terms govern the booking, and changes, cancellations, and refunds follow their rules, not ours. We may earn a commission when you book through a link in the app. It never changes the price you pay, and it never affects what we show you first.
Estimates are estimates
Prices, windows, savings schedules, and readiness dates are estimates built from the information available at the time. Fares and rates move. Nothing in the app is a quote, a guarantee, or financial advice, and you should check the real price before you commit to anything.
Subscriptions
Days/IRL Pro is $59.99 a year or $8.99 a month, billed through the App Store. It renews automatically until you cancel, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Manage or cancel it in your store account settings; we cannot cancel it for you. Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy. Prices may change, and we will tell you before a change affects a renewal.
iOS App License
Use of the Days IRL iOS app is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).
Your content
Your trips, wishlists, notes, photos, and uploads are yours. You give us the limited licence we need to store them, show them to the people you have shared them with, and operate the service. You must have the right to upload what you upload. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
Termination
You can delete your account in the app at any time; deletion runs after a 30-day grace period so a mistake can be undone. We may suspend or close an account that abuses the service, attempts fraud, or puts other travellers at risk. If we close your account, you keep access to your own money — it was never ours to withhold.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Amplifye is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and contact
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Questions: support@daysirl.com.
